PROSPECTIVE
STUDENTS
WE ARE ACCEPTING PARTICIPANTS WITH TWO FOCUSES TO CHOOSE FROM:
GENERAL / COMPANY MANAGEMENT and STAGE MANAGEMENT
QUALIFICATIONS:

This program is only open to members of a historically underrepresented group in the general, company and stage management fields of the theatre industry. In particular, BTSD is programmed for students who are members of racial and/or ethnic minority groups.

Must be seriously interested in a career in theatre management.
This is not a program for actors, designers, directors, or other creative theatre-makers. -
Must have recently graduated from an undergraduate program in the years 2020 – 2022.
This is not a program geared toward graduate students. -
Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Must be able to commit to the dates listed below.
PART 1:
VIRTUAL SESSIONS
During weekday evenings in the Winter 2022, students will receive a rigorous and interactive education from top industry professionals via Zoom, with topics including:

Working with a producing team
-
Budgeting and Building a show
-
Marketing and Advertising
-
Pre-Production and Rehearsals
-
Ticketing, Opening Night and Touring
PART 2:
IN PERSON WEEKEND IN NYC
DATES: TBD
All students will be invited to an all–expenses paid week to experience Broadway first–hand and apply all they've learned in person.
All selected students will enjoy:
