A THEATRE INITIATIVE FROM THE TEAM BEHIND BASELINE THEATRICAL
Beyond the Stage Door (BTSD) is a comprehensive and immersive week-long program designed to educate, empower, and prepare the next generation of undergraduate students and new to the industry professionals for careers in general, company, and stage management. BTSD is committed to expanding access and creating pathways in the theatre industry, with a strong focus on inclusive education and equitable opportunity.
Through a dynamic mix of seminars led by industry professionals, production-related excursions, and hands-on learning, participants gain a deep understanding of the inner workings of Broadway over the course of one intensive week in New York City. They shadow current managers and learn from seasoned leaders, ultimately moving forward with the tools, connections, and confidence to build lasting careers in the field.
